OVERVIEW:


Nigeria faces significant infrastructure and environmental challenges, particularly in the road, transportation, agriculture, and energy sectors, which are crucial for economic growth and national transformation. The Federal Ministry of Environment is committed to enabling  climate resilient green infrastructures that can withstand climate change threats and support sustainable development. This aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's vision for a green economy, emphasizing sustainable infrastructure, eco-industrialization, climate-conscious innovations, and green technology.


This SEDIT AFRICA Summit 2026 in collaboration with NASENI will serve as a pivotal platform for strategic dialogue, knowledge exchange, collaborative actions, implementation, and investments deals focusing on building resilient infrastructures, eco-industrialization, and promoting green innovation in several key sectors.


Theme: “The Pact for the Future: Climate-Resilient Infrastructures, Green Innovation, Implementation, and Investments in Nigeria”

It will bring together policymakers, engineers, investors, financial institutions, industry, private sectors, community leaders, sustainability experts, and international consultants to forge actionable strategies for a robust and future-proof infrastructure framework for Nigeria. The conference will bring together 1000+ delegates and key stakeholders from Africa and around the globe, who will present and discuss socio-economic, eco-digital innovation, policy reforms, and investment orientated solutions.

KEY POINTS

1. Re-assess existing baseline, gaps, innovation, opportunities, growth, investment prospects per sector, and engage directly with the industry, government, companies, public agencies, and social sectors to further demonstrate on a case-by-case basis; the sustainable eco-digital adoption approaches, decarbonization implementation strategies, smart urban designs, and raise awareness on white paper guidance per sector.

2. Promote awareness of sustainable eco-digital innovation impact, public-society engagement, decarbonization prospects, international partnerships, and sustainability roadmap per sector.

3. Empower digital and eco-driven inclusive value-chain implementation per sector, bridge investment gaps, promote new approaches and exhibitions via industry 4.0 prospects to drive sustainability in the identified sectors and enhance last-mile connectivity.

4. The outcome of the various panel discussions and breakout sessions should define potential next steps, strategic innovation actions, follow-up projects, and climate finance investments to close identified gaps per sector.
