Sustainability in Africa in the context of Eco and Digital Transformation (SEDIT AFRICA) is a non for-profit organization and registered in Lagos, Nigeria. It reinforces climate impact actions and sustainability in Africa by advocating synergies through leveraging Eco-innovation and Digital transformation in the public and multi-sectoral domains for sustainable development in compliance with the UN SDGs.

SEDIT AFRICA cultivate strategic partnerships, collaborations and capacity building with key stakeholders such as Government Ministries, Public Agencies, Non-governmental Organizations, Private sector leaders, Companies, Industries, Academia, and Innovation hubs to leverage resources, expertise, and networks for the advancement of sustainable eco-innovation and digital transformation across Africa.

I believe the time has come to take the discourse of sustainability at the country level in Africa to a higher level of developing consensus, building capacities, and fostering robust synergies with key stakeholders; in an intentional pursuit of advancing public and private multi-sectoral sustainable developments through leveraging eco-innovation and digital transformation across Africa.

SEDIT Africa is a vehicle birthed to bring our rich expertise across the African countries to amplify collaborative research, innovation, and investments towards designing and implementing tailored sustainable practices and projects to reinforce collective impacts on a case-by-case basis and at per country level through re-assessing of existing baseline, identification of gaps and sustainable solutions for strengthening socio-economic values and ensuring wellbeing of our society.

SEDIT Africa's mission is to foster an African solution that reinforces sustainable climate actions and systemic implementable decarbonization strategies, build smart urban cities, provide a platform for sharing success stories and domestication in our different environments, dissemination of valuable information, and provide guidance on focused thematic white papers for sustainable development in compliance with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs). VISION

To foster a thriving Think-Tank of African climate actions impact ecosystem and leveraging eco-digital innovation initiatives for sustainable development; incompliance with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

MISSION

To create strategic multi-sectoral and public partnerships at country levels in Africa through re-assessments of existing baseline, gaps/growth status per sector and engage directly with the industry, government, companies, public agencies, and social sectors to further demonstrate on a case-by-case basis; the sustainable eco-digital adoption approaches, decarbonization implementation strategies, smart green cities and urban designs, and raise awareness on existing white paper on guidance per sector.

To develop and implement capacity building programs and training sessions aimed at equipping stakeholders, including policymakers, non-governmental organisations and industry players with the necessary knowledge and skills to foster sustainable eco innovation and digital transformation in Nigeria and across Africa.
To cultivate strategic partnerships and collaborations with key stakeholders such as governments, non-governmental organisations, industry leaders, industry players, academia, and innovation hubs to leverage resources, expertise, and networks for the advancement of sustainable eco-innovation and digital transformation in Nigeria and across Africa.
To engage in community outreach initiatives and advocacy campaigns to raise awareness about the importance of sustainable eco-innovation and digital transformation, and to promote inclusivity, gender equality, and youth empowerment within the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Nigeria and across Africa.
To conduct research and development activities to re-assess the baseline and growth status of various sectors, identify gaps and challenges, and explore innovative solutions and best practices in sustainable eco-digital innovation, decarbonisation, and smart urban designs in Nigeria and across Africa.
To establish mechanisms for monitoring, measuring, and evaluating the impact of interventions and projects, with a focus on achieving tangible outcomes, driving sustainability, and fostering economic and human capital development in Nigeria and Africa.
To develop sustainable resource mobilization strategies to secure funding, grants, and donations from diverse sources to support the operational activities and initiatives in Nigeria and across Africa.
To advocate for conducive policy environments and regulatory frameworks that support and facilitate sustainable eco-innovation and digital transformation initiatives, while actively engaging with high-level policymakers and decision makers to drive positive change at the national and continental levels in Nigeria and across Africa.
To facilitate knowledge sharing and dissemination of best practices, success stories, and lessons learned in sustainable eco-innovation and digital transformation through events, webinars, publications, conferences, and workshops to inspire and empower stakeholders in Nigeria and across Africa.
